Bruce grew up on a ranch near Rose, NE, received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and lived in Washington, D.C. for 5 years before moving to Kearney in 1994. He started his financial services career at Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. as a Registered Representative and after more than 15 years managing trusts for two Nebraska-based bank trust departments, joined Black Oak Investment Council. In 2019, Bruce joined American Portfolios Financial Services as a Registered Representative and Novem Group as an Investment Advisor. He currently leads the investment division at Five Points Financial.
Bruce currently serves on the Kearney City Council, the Buffalo County Economic Development Council, and the Kearney Area Community Foundation. He also volunteers with Kearney Catholic High School and Kearney Soccer Club as well as other community service organizations.
When he's not at Five Points, Bruce likes to coach soccer, improve his BBQ skills, and spend time with his wife, Menda, and their two daughters.
